Accessibility statement

Prepared 31 August 2026.

Our commitment

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. This statement is based on an internal review, not independent certification.

What you should be able to do

Zoom without losing information, navigate by keyboard, understand structure through headings and labels, use forms with clear instructions, read text with good contrast, use common screen sizes, and reduce motion through device settings.

What we do

We use semantic HTML, responsive layouts, descriptive titles, visible focus and alt text for meaningful images, with plain-language form instructions. New pages are reviewed before publication.

Known limitations

Third-party services such as the enquiry-form processor are not fully under our control. Very large text settings or unusual browser setups may cause minor layout issues. Older or external documents may not meet the same standard.

Reporting a problem

Email hello@thewebcartel.co.uk with the page address, the task you were trying to do, what went wrong and, optionally, your browser or assistive technology. We acknowledge reports within five working days. Alternative formats can be requested.

Technical basis and review

The site uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript and targets current major browsers. We review this statement after significant site changes, when a material problem is found, or at least annually.
